Terms of Service
These terms apply to every appointment with Notary Near Me Fort Worth, operated by Oralia Perez, a Texas Notary Public.
Fees and Booking
- All fees are agreed upon during booking, before I travel.
- A 10% deposit is due at booking to reserve your appointment. It is applied to your total at the appointment.
- A travel fee applies to every in-person appointment. It is based on the distance to your address, rounded to the whole mile, and is listed on the fees page.
- My travel, after-hours, courier and officiant fees are separate from Texas notarial fees. I quote them before I travel and you agree to them in advance.
- Every invoice I give you itemizes each notarial act and each separate fee.
- I accept cash, Zelle, Cash App, Venmo, PayPal and tap to pay.
Notarizations
- Every signer must appear before me in person (or by Texas online notarization, if I offer it) with a current government-issued photo ID or U.S. passport, or with a credible witness. I cannot notarize for someone who is not present.
- I notarize documents you bring. I do not prepare, select, or explain legal documents, and I cannot choose the notarial certificate for you.
- I may decline a notarization when Texas law requires it, including when identity cannot be confirmed or a signer does not appear to understand or willingly sign the document.
- I keep a record of every notarization for ten years as Texas law requires.
Services That Are Not Notarial Acts
Wedding ceremonies, Form I-9 authorized-representative appointments, fingerprinting, exam proctoring and medical courier runs are separate services with their own fees, agreed upon during booking.
