Form I-9 Authorized Representative
I review a new hire's original documents and complete Section 2 for the employer.
How It Works
When an employer hires someone who works remotely, I can meet the new hire, examine the original identity and work-authorization documents, and complete Section 2 on the employer's behalf.
The employer remains responsible for the form.
For Form I-9, I act as the employer's authorized representative and complete Section 2 on the employer's behalf. This is not a notarial act and I do not notarize or seal the form.
